How to check a RERA broker card in Dubai
To check a Dubai broker card, use the Dubai Land Department's e-card verification: choose "Broker Card" as the card type, enter the card number, and DLD shows the card's record. You can also search the agent's name in DLD's public list of licensed brokers, on dubailand.gov.ae or in the Dubai REST app, to see their broker number and the office they are registered with.

Option 1: verify the card number (e-card check)
DLD's e-card verification checks a card issued by RERA to anyone practising a real estate activity in Dubai (DLD, e-card verification).
- Open Ecard verification on dubailand.gov.ae, or the same service in the Dubai REST app.
- Choose the card type, for example Broker Card.
- Enter the card number from the agent's card, and complete the security check.
- Press Validate. If DLD finds no match, it says no data was found for the details entered.
Option 2: search the agent by name
- Open DLD's Licensed Real Estate Brokers list.
- Search the agent's name. You can filter by area, project, office, or sale, lease and mortgage brokers.
- Compare the result with the card: the "Broker Number" (the BRN) and the office name should match.
The same list is in the Dubai REST app (DLD, Licensed Real Estate Brokers). To check the brokerage instead, use the Offices filter and its ORN.
| Check | Where | What you enter | Time, per DLD |
|---|---|---|---|
| E-card verification | DLD website or Dubai REST | Card type and card number | Immediate |
| Licensed brokers list | DLD website or Dubai REST | Agent's name, with optional filters | Immediate |
| Brokerage trade licence | DLD website or Dubai REST | Trade licence number | Instant |
The licence check is DLD's office trade licence search. It matters because DLD says a broker card's validity is linked to the validity of the brokerage's trade licence (DLD, card issue).
What if the card doesn't check out?
Ask the agent for their current card and run the check again with the exact number. A card that has lapsed is renewed in Trakheesi or the Dubai REST app for AED 500 plus a AED 10 knowledge fee and a AED 10 innovation fee, according to DLD's renewal service page. DLD says nobody may practise a licensed activity until they hold the card for it. Full renewal steps are on broker card renewal in Dubai.
Checking every card in a team
Checking one card takes a minute. Knowing which of 15 cards expires next month is the harder job. AIRA, the WhatsApp CRM for Dubai real estate, keeps each agent's BRN and card expiry on the team page and warns the manager when a card is within 30 days of expiry.
